Just a friendly reminder for you kids regarding winter camping expeditions - the deer get restless this time of year, and that's when hunters start getting up in their blinds and looking for a prize buck to bring in. All of this means, of course, please let me know in advance when you all decide to do some camping and I'll be happy to make sure you've got campgrounds clear and safe.

Also, it's a new year, so you'll need a new signed permission slip from your parents for January's rifle range trip. I've left a stack of them with Troop Leader MacArthur.
